"I think most kids start taking private lessons once they feel like they’re good enough to move on from public group lessons. For me, it was the opposite. I started taking skating about 13 years ago at a small rink built inside a shopping mall. I was the below average kid in the class who couldn’t even stand up on the ice haha. My mom thought I would just quit after a couple of classes, but surprisingly I never did. Eventually, she felt bad for me and asked the instructor to give me private lessons so that I could keep up with the group class... and that’s pretty much how I got into skating."

Memories/ moments with the team: The closing of Nationals when we found out that we placed 5th. I couldn’t have felt any more relieved, happy and sad that the competition was over at the same time.
What else?: Outside of skating & school, I like to cook, bake, go on food adventures and explore.
